The marketplace is a public library of skills. Instead of building a skill from scratch, you can browse the marketplace, find one that matches your use case, and clone it into your workspace in a single click. The cloned skill is yours to run and customize, changes you make do not affect the original, and updates to the original are not pushed to your copy automatically.

Browse

Open Marketplace from the main sidebar. It has two tabs:
  • Skills — single skills you can run or clone
  • Workflows — workflows shared by the community
The Skills tab lists public skills in a searchable grid, sorted by Trending, Most Runs, or Recent. Each card shows the skill name, description, and creator. Click a card to open the full skill detail page, which shows Total Runs, total Clones, Rating, and credits per run before you commit.
Use the search bar to filter by keyword — try the site name, data type, or use case you have in mind.

Clone a skill

1

Find a skill

Browse or search the marketplace until you find a skill that matches what you need. Click the card to open the skill’s page and review its inputs, sample output, and rating before proceeding.
2

Click Clone skill

On the skill’s page, click Clone skill in the top-right corner. A confirmation dialog will appear — click Clone skill to confirm. The skill is cloned into your currently active workspace.
3

Open your copy

After cloning, you are taken directly to the skill in My skills. Because the skill was cloned from the marketplace, a Rate on Marketplace button appears in the header — use it after running the skill to leave a review.
4

Customize and run

The cloned skill is a full independent copy. You can edit its name, inputs, and instructions with Edit skill. Run it to verify it works for your use case, then wire it into a schedule or call it from the API.
Cloned skills run against your own credit balance — not the original author’s. Each run deducts credits from your account the same way as your own skills. See Credits.

Rate a skill you cloned

After running a cloned skill, click Rate on Marketplace from the skill’s page to submit a star rating and written review. Only users who have cloned a skill can rate it — this keeps reviews grounded in real usage. Your rating feeds into the skill’s aggregate score on its marketplace listing.

Share your own skill

Any skill you have built can be shared with the Valendata community by making it public. There are two ways to do this:
  • At publish time — in the Publish Skill modal, set visibility to Public before clicking Publish. The skill will appear in the marketplace immediately.
  • After publishing — open the skill, click Edit skill, and toggle visibility from Private to Public. The skill moves to the marketplace as soon as you save.
Public skills are discoverable by all Valendata users. Other users can run them directly or clone them into their own workspace.
